Join the fun this Friday at the First Friday Artwalk! Sharon will be drawing live and showing off her still-life drawing skills. Sharon was born and raised in Salem Oregon, and attended Lewis and Clark College. She earned a BA Degree with a major in Art and Theater. Sharon lived in Seattle for 10 years working as a Scenic Artist for various theatrical organizations including A Contemporary Theatre, Seattle Repertory Theatre, and The Seattle Opera. She lived in Long Beach California for 9 years where she earned an MFA at California State University Long Beach and taught Drawing and Painting at various Colleges. In 2008 she accepted a position teaching Foundation Studies at the Savannah College of Art and Design. An exciting career opportunity for her partner brought them back to Seattle in 2018 where she taught painting at Seattle Community college and online. She has come full circle now, moving back to Salem in 2021 where she continues to teach online.
